Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott gave the press an update for all his players nursing injuries at Tuesday morning’s press conference. A couple new big names were added to the injury report and an offensive lineman is showing signs of progression.
Defensive lineman Marcell Dareus suffered a quad injury and will be limited in practice today. Linebacker Ramon Humber will also be limited after suffering an oblique injury. Running back Johnathan Williams suffered a knee injury in practice yesterday and is listed as day-to-day. Cornerback E.J. Gaines is out of practice today with a hamstring injury.
Offensive lineman Cordy Glenn is “progressing” according to McDermott and will be participating in the team’s walkthrough later today. McDermott added that both Glenn and wide receiver Jordan Matthews, who will be doing light work today at practice, are on track to be back for the season opener.
The team is still weighing their options on to what to do with wide receiver Rod Streater. He is currently listed as week-to-week with a toe injury.
