Bills Links, 9/1: Brandon Beane opens up, Sean McDermott gets a win

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Detroit Lions 27-17 on Thursday night

The Buffalo Bills preseason came to an end on Thursday night with a 27-17 victory over the Detroit Lions at New Era Field. The game provided what one would expect from week 4 of the preseason, limited time from prominent players, while roster hopefuls looked to make a lasting impression on the Bills coaches and front office.

An interview of note from Thursday came from WKBW’s Joe Buscaglia and his one-on-one with general manager Brandon Beane. During the segment Beane speaks openly about Marcell Dareus and Tyrod Taylor, and is well worth the watch. Beane and his staff have until 4:00 PM on Saturday to trim the roster down to 53.
