With only one game shown on the CBS network this week and six options available, the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers won’t be on too many screens outside of Western New York and the Carolinas this week.
For the Bills viewing area, Western New York is obviously including over to Syracuse and up to Ogdensburg but further east in Albany will be seeing the New York Jets and Oakland Raiders. The viewing area will also sprawl into the northwest portion of Pennsylvania in Erie.
Further south, North and South Carolina are covered and so is most of Virginia, except in Norfolk. Outside of the primary and secondary viewing areas, there isn’t another station carrying the game.
The Bills and Panthers draw the fourth-best announcing crew from CBS. For the second week in a row, Kevin Harlan and Rich Gannon will make the call.
The top announcing crew is working the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints and will be shown to most of the country. Over on FOX the big game is the Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos while Minnesota vs. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia vs. Kansas City get big swaths of the country in the early time slot.
