The Buffalo Bills look to right the ship this weekend at New Era Field, where they play host to the Denver Broncos in what should be a good AFC match-up between strong defenses. The Bills will look to continue their success against the pass, while Denver quarterback Trever Siemian will look to continue his hot start, as he has thrown for a league-leading six touchdowns in the team’s first two games.
For the Bills, a trio of key contributors are out. Marcell Dareus and Jerel Worthy, two of the top three interior defensive linemen on the team, will miss the contest. Dareus hurt his ankle in last week’s loss at the Carolina Panthers, and Worthy has yet to emerge from the concussion protocol after suffering a head injury against the Detroit Lions in the preseason finale. Garrett Bolles, Denver’s rookie left tackle, was carted off the field in last week’s victory over the Dallas Cowboys, but he is expected to start today.
Let’s talk some Buffalo Bills football, everybody!
