Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott addressed the media today after their big win against the Denver Broncos yesterday. McDermott was happy to announce that no new injuries were added to the list at this time. The likes of Marcell Dareus, Cordy Glenn, and Jerel Worthy are still on the list and all 3 missed the game on Sunday.
Dareus has been dealing with an ankle injury since the Panthers game. Practice will gauge how likely it is that he plays in Atlanta next week. Glenn was also knocked out of the game in Carolina. This is a new injury from the one he dealt with during the preseason, affecting the other foot.
Worthy suffered a concussion during the preseason finale and has been in the protocol ever since. A glimmer of hope for him was there last week as he returned to the facilities to observe practice. There is no timetable for his return. Concussions are not something the NFL takes lightly and the neurologist won't release anyone from the concussion protocol unless they are sure they are ready for contact.
E.J. Gaines left with a leg injury but returned to the game after missing one snap.
