Buffalo Bills sign nine players to reserve/future contracts

The nine players made up the team’s practice squad during the season

The Buffalo Bills have signed the following nine players to reserve/future contracts on Monday. This gets these players under contract for the 2018 offseason and are typically meant to keep practice squad players in the fold for the time being.

Full list:

  • Defensive end Marquavius Lewis
  • Tight End Jason Croom
  • Punter Corey Carter
  • Center Adam Redmond
  • Offensive tackle De’Ondre Wesley
  • Running back Aaron Green
  • Offensive tackle Josh James
  • Wide receiver Quan Bray
  • Safety Dean Marlowe

You may remember Marquavius Lewis and Jason Croom as training camp standouts last year. Both were eventually cut, but will likely get another crack at making the roster this offseason. Most of the other players were more recent signings, with the exception of De’Ondre Wesley who was signed to the practice squad near the beginning of the Bills regular season.

Also added last week was 2017 training camp star Rod Streater was also signed to a future/reserve contract, on January 1st. The wide receiver has spent most of the regular season rehabbing the foot injury he suffered in the team’s third preseason game against the Phildelphia Eagles
