For the first time this postseason, the Buffalo Bills won’t have something to root for on a game day. After being eliminated at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars a week ago in a low-scoring 10-3 contest, Buffalo will be watching this weekend of the playoffs at home like the rest of us.
Here is all the information you need to catch the games. Come chat with us in the comments.
Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles
NBC, 4:35 p.m. Eastern
The Eagles are a home underdog as a top seed with quarterbacks Carson Wentz on the sideline with a torn knee ligament. The Bills knocked off the Falcons in Atlanta earlier this season.
Former Bills guard Andy Levitre is on the Falcons roster but currently resides on injured reserve. Linebacker Nigel Bradham, cornerback Ronald Darby, and safety Corey Graham play for the Eagles now under former Bills defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Also on the Eagles coaching staff is Frank Reich, former Bills quarterback.
Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots
CBS, 8:15 p.m. Eastern
The Patriots are huge favorites as they host the Titans. Despite reports of friction in the top tier of the organization, New England is still poised for a deep run in the postseason. Buffalo went 0-2 against New England in 2017.
Led by former Bills head coach Mike Mularkey, the Titans also boast former Bills in quarterback Matt Cassel and safety Da’Norris Searcy in addition to Lockport, NY native David Fluellen. The Patriots have a glut of former Bills players with cornerback Stephon Gilmore, receiver Chris Hogan, running back Mike Gillislee, defensive lineman Alan Branch, and defensive end Eric Lee plus WNY native Rob Gronkowski.
