Tyrod Taylor has earned $7.5 million for his 2017 regular season pay. In Taylor’s contract, the Buffalo Bills have implemented scenarios where he gets bonuses for making different levels of the playoffs. Taylor could earn up to $2 million extra from Jthe postseason.
According to former NFL agent Joel Corry, Taylor will receive a $500,000 bonus for making it to the divisional round of the playoffs. That could turn into $1 million if the Bills make it to the AFC championship. Finally, he would get another million for making it to the Super Bowl and taking at least 50 percent of the Bills’ offensive snaps in the Super Bowl.
That is a big incentive for someone to get to the Super Bowl, no matter what they made in the regular season. One step at a time for Taylor and the Bills and he could get at least the $500,000 bonus this weekend. (Not to mention, he would likely earn a massive new contract in Buffalo or elsewhere if he led the Bills on a Super Bowl run.)
