Buffalo Bills inactives, Wild Card game against the Jacksonville Jaguars: LeSean McCoy in

Good news, bad news for Buffalo on the injury front

When the Buffalo Bills begin play this afternoon against the Jacksonville Jaguars, they’ll do so down a starting linebacker. However, they will have their top offensive weapon available, as running back LeSean McCoy is active and ready to play today. What is yet to be seen is just how much the star runner’s sprained ankle will limit him. Here is the complete list of inactives for Buffalo.

CB Shareece Wright

Buffalo’s fourth cornerback is out with a knee injury. His absence means that Buffalo will go with Lafayette Pitts as the “dime” corner. Breon Borders is also active for the first time since being signed off of the Oakland Raiders’ practice squad.

TE Khari Lee

Buffalo goes with the more athletic Logan Thomas as the third tight end instead of Lee, regarded as a superior blocker.

WR Brandon Reilly

With Deonte Thompson and Kelvin Benjamin ready to play, Reilly will remain a healthy scratch, as he has every game since his call-up from the practice squad.

WR Malachi Dupree

The big-bodied rookie receiver is also a healthy scratch, as Buffalo goes with four receivers for yet another week.

G John Miller

Buffalo’s former starter at the right guard position has watched veteran Vlad Ducasse man the position since the fifth week of the season.

T Conor McDermott

Buffalo signed McDermott of the New England Patriots’ practice squad earlier in the season, and he’s been a healthy scratch in essentially every game this season.

LB Matt Milano

This one hurts. Buffalo’s fifth-round draft pick has done a very good job starting, but his absence means that veteran Ramon Humber will fill the weakside linebacker spot today.
