After an extremely underwhelming Wild Card game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Buffalo Bills 2017 season is officially over. With the end of the season comes the finalization of where the team will draft this year.
Thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs losing Saturday, the Bills will have the 21st overall pick and then the 22nd overall pick. General manager Brandon Beane has plenty of assets at his disposal to try and move up to earlier in the first round to try and get a franchise-changing player.
The Bills also have two picks in the second round as well. Buffalo will have the 53rd overall pick and the 56th overall pick. One of those picks was acquired this offseason when the Bills sent wide receiver Sammy Watkins to the Los Angeles Rams.
Buffalo also has one pick in the third round, fourth round, and fifth round. We won’t know what numbers those picks will be until after compensatory picks are announced in February.
This will be Beane and head coach Sean McDermott’s first draft together in Buffalo. After these first four picks the fan base will finally get to see the vision for the future of the franchise.
