The hottest topic for the Buffalo Bills this off-season will be what the team does at quarterback in 2018. While many expect the Bills to draft a quarterback early in the NFL Draft, others think that a more established option is a better fit. ESPN’s Louis Riddick started some of that speculation on Monday around Alex Smith.

The playoffs just wrapped up for the Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs, so this kind of speculation is obviously taking place very early. The Bills still have to make a decision on Tyrod Taylor, and Smith is still under contract with the Chiefs. With that being said, Riddick is well-respected around the league, and has been listed as a candidate for various front office jobs. There could be more to this than just the normal speculation that could come from television personalities.
