Buffalo Bills injury update: Micah Hyde could miss time with groin injury

Sean McDermott updated the injury situation after the Packers game.

The Buffalo Bills lost safety Micah Hyde early in their 22-0 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. While addressing the media on Monday, head coach Sean McDermott listed Hyde as “week to week” with a groin injury.

“If Rafael [Bush] has to play, which he did in the ballgame yesterday, I think he’ll do a good job,” said coordinator Leslie Frazier. “He’s worked extremely hard in practice. He’s been preparing for this situation. And then you have Siran [Neal], as well, who would come in and get an opportunity to play. We have a couple options. We’ll see how things go this week, and who knows? Maybe Micah will make it back. Who knows?”

With Frazier not closing the door completely, we’ll keep an eye on it moving forward.

Elsewhere in the secondary, Phillip Gaines was a full participant on Friday but his dislocated elbow kept him out of the lineup on Sunday.

Running back LeSean McCoy entered the game with sore ribs, but came out of the game fine said coach McDermott. Ditto for receiver Kelvin Benjamin, who took a shot to the head in the second half. Marcus Murphy, who also had rib problems, should be good to go moving forward at running back.
