When the Buffalo Bills take on the division-leading New England Patriots this week, they’ll be dealing with a host of injuries. Going into their first appearance on Monday Night Football in ten years, the Bills will be without defensive end Trent Murphy, special teams captain Taiwan Jones, or quarterback Josh Allen. All three were ruled out on Friday ahead of the game.
LeSean McCoy, still going through the concussion protocol, will be a gametime decision. He practiced in a limited capacity this week, which doesn’t rule him out, but it’s still possible that he won’t be able to play against New England. His backup, Chris Ivory, pulled a hamstring in practice this week, but is expected to play.
Offensive tackle Jordan Mills showed up as a limited participant in practice on Thursday, but Sean McDermott didn’t address his status in speaking with reporters Friday morning, suggesting that the starter will be able to play Monday night.
