Buffalo Bills-New England Patriots first half open thread

Are you ready for some football?

The Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots are set to do battle tonight on Monday Night Football. The two teams last met on a Monday night in Orchard Park for the first MNF game of the 2009 season. The Bills had New England dead to rights, leading 24-13 with 5:32 to play in the contest. Of course, the Bills managed to allow 2 touchdowns merely 76 seconds apart to lose 25-24.

The Bills will need a lot to go right for them if they are going to have a chance at keeping tonight’s game close. Derek Anderson makes his second start for the team in relief of injured rookie Josh Allen. He’s certainly no Tom Brady, although if the Bills can hit and pressure the future Hall of Fame quarterback, they stand a chance in what is a raucous home atmosphere.

Enjoy tonight’s contest wherever you are, Bills fans. Just don’t be like those shameful posers at ESPN eating boneless wings chicken nuggets while doing so.
