Buffalo Bills fan confidence takes a nosedive following Green Bay Packers shutout

Matt Warren is Associate Director of NFL coverage for SB Nation and previously covered the Bills for Buffalo Rumblings for more than a decade.

Buffalo Bills fans are a fickle group. A week after a big jump thanks to a near-blowout win over the Minnesota Vikings, Bills fans tumbled back to earth after being shut out by the Green Bay Packers. Our FanPulse results below show the story (sign up here to join FanPulse and take our weekly Bills survey)

Bills fans jumped 30% from Week 3 to Week 4 on the heels of that win, but fell 41% a Josh Allen-era low of 32% this week, meaning only 32% of respondents are confident in the direction of the Bills.

But things could be looking up. Buffalo fans predict a much closer game this week than they have the last two weeks, when they projected an 11-point spread in the game against the Vikings and Packers.

Tennessee Titans fans are riding high, carrying a 92% approval rating into Sunday’s game on the heels of their 3-1 start. They are projecting a nine-point margin of victory Sunday.
