With just under twelve minutes to go in the fourth quarter against the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano exited the game with what the team called a head injury. With the Jets trailing by twenty-eight, Josh McCown found Jordan Leggett around midfield for a six-yard gain.
Matt Milano came roaring in to assist on the tackle where it appeared he was hit hard in the head. Milano stayed on the turf for several seconds before attempting to get back up. Trainers came to Milano’s side and took their time assessing him on the field before helping him to the sidelie. Milano was holding his arm while exiting and brought to the medical tent. The Bills later announced that Milano was being evaluated for a concussion.
Milano had accumulated six tackles and an interception in another stellar performance from the second year man. It was Milano’s second interception this season which isn’t too shabby for a linebacker.
