Welcome to the latest Buffalo Rumblings podcast. My name is Matt Warren, Brand Manager and Editor-in-Chief at Buffalo Rumblings and I’m excited to host our newest weekly podcast for Buffalo Bills fans! It’s called “Buffalo Rumblings Q&A” and we’re taking your questions and answering them from a fan perspective.

If you want to ask a question on the air, call our voicemail box at (716)508-0405 or you can send us a question on Twitter to @RumblingsQandA. We will also be around in the comments section to chime in here on the site.

In this week’s introductory show on the Bills’ bye week, Matt answers questions on pending free agents and the decision to start Josh Allen over Matt Barkley at quarterback when the rookie is once again healthy.

Dan from Boston called in asking about the pending Bills free agents and which ones, especially the starters, I could see Buffalo keeping around in 2019. Here’s a list of the pending free agents for you:

  • DT Kyle Williams
  • LB Lorenzo Alexander
  • OL Ryan Groy
  • WR Kelvin Benjamin
  • OT Jordan Mills
  • DT Jordan Phillips
  • QB Derek Anderson
  • RB Taiwan Jones
  • TE Logan Thomas
  • OL Jeremiah Sirles
  • QB Matt Barkley
  • P Colton Schmidt
  • OL John Miller
  • CB Lafayette Pitts
  • DE Eddie Yarbrough
  • WR Isaiah McKenzie
  • LS Reid Ferguson
  • WR Robert Foster
  • CB Levi Wallace
  • WR Deonte Thompson (signed after the podcast was recorded.)

In addition to the free agents, I speak a little bit about why the Bills should go with Josh Allen over Matt Barkley when the rookie is healthy. I delved into that on the site in my opinion piece earlier this week, so here’s a link to that article if you’re interested.
