As the Bills return to One Bills Drive from their bye week vacation, the team will be marginally healthier than how they finished against the New York Jets. The biggest news is Josh Allen’s return to action. The rookie quarterback will be a full participant in practice on Monday, lining him up to start once more against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Derek Anderson is still in the concussion protocol, meaning Matt Barkley would be the primary backup if Anderson can’t go.
Linebacker Matt Milano, who suffered a concussion against the Jets, is still in the concussion protocol, but will practice as a limited participant - a good sign early in the week. Tight end Charles Clay (hamstring) won’t practice, but it’s too early to say if he’ll be at risk for Sunday. Defensive end Trent Murphy (knee) will be a limited participant in practice.
The Jaguars will be banged up as they head into Buffalo. Their offensive line has been decimated this year, with Cam Robinson and Brandon Linder already on injured reserve, and guards A.J. Cann and Josh Walker both questionable with injuries.
