For the second straight week, the Buffalo Bills (4-7) will square off against a struggling team from Florida, the Miami Dolphins (5-6).
On the latest edition of Billieve: a Buffalo Bills Fan Podcast, host John Boccacino is joined by John Kinsley from The Phinsider to preview the Week 13 showdown between two teams that find themselves heading in opposite directions, but still squarely on the outside looking in concerning the race for a playoff spot.
The Bills have won back-to-back games for the first time all season, while the Dolphins have cooled off following a surprising 3-0 start to the season.
Give our podcast a listen to get fully prepared for the first of two rivalry games between the Bills and the Fish.
Among the topics covered: another up-and-down season in South Beach, which started off right with three straight victories, but has since fallen off the rails thanks to losses in six of the Dolphins’ last eight games.
The latest example of the Dolphins up-and-down season came in Week 12, when Miami led a good Indianapolis Colts squad 24-14 in the fourth quarter, but proceeded to get conservative on offense and ultimately fell to Andrew Luck and the Colts, 27-24.
Among the other topics discussed: the status of Dolphins’ starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill and his future in Miami (Tannehill returned in Week 12 after yet another injury and has missed 25 games over the last three seasons); Adam Gase’s job security after another up-and-down year (Gase is 21-22 in his three seasons with Miami); how the Bills can exploit and attack Miami’s porous run defense; and more.
Boccacino and Kinsley also offer up their predictions for the game, which both experts think will be a one-score contest.
