Chicago Bears defense scores big fantasy points against Buffalo Bills

The Bills continue to gift opposing D/STs points

The Chicago Bears came to Orchard Park on Sunday and absolutely annihilated the Buffalo Bills in every facet of the game. Chicago scored thanks to good play calling, excellent defense, and Buffalo’s overall ineptitude on the offensive side of the ball.

There were a few strong fantasy football performances this week for Buffalo’s opponents. Here are the top three.

Bears D/ST

Another week, another defensive touchdown by Buffalo’s opponents. The Bears were able to score twice on defense, returning a Jason Croom fumble 65 yards for a touchdown and following that up by taking a deflected Nathan Peterman pass back 19 yards for another score. Add to those plays 4 sacks and another interception, and the Bears clearly had a strong day. They also held Buffalo to 9 points, which helped boost their total to 28 fantasy points on the afternoon.

RB Jordan Howard

Chicago’s number one rusher looked the part on Sunday. The Bills were able to contain him throughout most of the day, but when their offense kept gifting Chicago solid field position, the Bills were unable to keep Howard out off the end zone. He only mustered 47 yards on 14 carries, but he did find the end zone twice for a score of 16.7 fantasy points on the day. That total was good for eleventh among running backs last week.

K Cody Parkey

Parkey was the highest-scoring kicker in the league this week, managing 12 fantasy points on a day that saw him kicking mostly extra points. He was 5-for-5 on PATs, adding a 23-yard field goal and a 45-yard field goal to his ledger in the second half.
