On Christmas, people from all over are busy on the big day. Some are drinking egg nog by the fire (and maybe even roasting chestnuts), wrapping presents, baking Christmas cookies and spending quality time with their loved ones.
Here at Buffalo Rumblings, we’re enjoying the videos by One Buffalo Holidays. The series includes lighthearted skits by players from the four Buffalo sports teams, each representing a classic holiday movie.
The Buffalo Bills got in on the action with Zay Jones playing Buddy the Elf from the Christmas comedy Elf and he didn’t disappoint.

Perhaps even funnier was the skit by rookie Harrison Phillips and veteran Kyle Williams from the Christmas romance Love Actually. The two are often compared to each other in terms of their playing styles, appearances and even personalities so it comes as no surprise that their on-screen chemistry was strong.

Next up is the Buffalo Sabres. They went with some great Christmas classics including this iconic scene by Zach Bogosian and Cater Hutton from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation:

Casey Mittelstadt’s version of Kevin McAllister from Home Alone is truly a must-see.

What holiday would be complete without the film A Christmas Story? The Buffalo Beauts and Buffalo Bandits reenacted the famous “tongue stuck to a frozen pole” scene without a hitch.
Has anyone seen Dhane? He was at recess, wasn’t he?
