The Buffalo Bills end their season today against the Miami Dolphins, whose season will also come to a close at the conclusion of today’s game. With both teams eliminated, we expected to see some different lineup combinations. However, it looks like most of the players Buffalo has used throughout the season will continue in those same roles.
Here are the inactives for today’s contest.
QB Derek Anderson
Buffalo’s veteran quarterback is a healthy scratch again. Matt Barkley will serve as backup to rookie Josh Allen.
RB Keith Ford
With veteran Chris Ivory able to practice in full this week, the undrafted rookie will be a healthy scratch for the season finale. Ivory was listed as questionable, giving some pause as to his availability this week, but he will play instead of the rookie.
WR Deonte Thompson
The veteran injured a toe against the New England Patriots last week, and he will miss the final game of the season as a result. Buffalo has six wide receivers active today.
G Vladmir Ducasse
The veteran former starter at left guard is inactive again, as he has been since losing his starting gig to rookie Wyatt Teller in the middle of the season.
DE Eddie Yarbrough
This one is a bit surprising, as Yarbrough has been a rotational player since the beginning of last season. The Bills will give undrafted rookie Mike Love a longer look in that rotational role today behind veterans Jerry Hughes, Trent Murphy, and Shaq Lawson.
LB Julian Stanford
The veteran special teams player injured his ankle last week, and he was carted off the field as a result. He won’t be able to go today.
CB Ryan Lewis
The young corner is still inactive thanks to a concussion suffered against the Detroit Lions.
