Buffalo Bills fantasy football opponent recap, Week 13: Ryan Tannehill throws three touchdowns

The veteran quarterback turned in a solid, albeit unspectacular, fantasy day

The Miami Dolphins were able to hold on and beat the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, winning a 21-17 game to keep their playoff hopes alive. While they were victorious, the stat line wasn’t a pretty one, so their fantasy-football prospects were not too good this week. The Bills held the Dolphins to 175 total yards, but they surrendered three touchdowns overall. Those three touchdowns are the reason each of Miami’s top fantasy scorers are who they are.

Here were the three best Miami players to have in fantasy football in Week 13.

QB Ryan Tannehill

The leading scorer for the Dolphins did not put up huge numbers, but they were buoyed by a trio of touchdowns. Tannehill only completed 16-of-24 passes for 137 yards, but he did throw those three touchdown passes (and one interception) on the day. Overall, Tannehill scored 15.98 fantasy points, which was good for only 13th among quarterbacks this week—but it was good for first among Miami players.

WR DeVante Parker

Miami’s big-bodied wideout had a solid game overall. He was targeted seven times, and he managed to catch four of them for 43 yards and one touchdown on the afternoon. Parker has not had a good year, catching only 21 passes for 278 yards and that lone touchdown so far, and he really has not lived up to his potential in Miami. His 12.3 fantasy points this week was the second-highest total of the 2018 season.

WR Kenny Stills

The other healthy veteran receiver that suited up for Miami also caught a touchdown, which turned out to be the game winner. Stills was targeted six times, and he caught four passes for 37 yards and that touchdown. The wide receiver posted double-digit fantasy scoring games in Week 1 and Week 3, but his 11.7-point outing against Buffalo is the first time he reached double-figures since September.
