On Saturday afternoon, Benjamin Allbright of 104.7 in Denver reported that the Buffalo Bills are looking to trade up for a quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft. While there has been much speculation that Brandon Beane could look to make a trade, it does appear to be the first official report of the Bills trying to move up. Allbright is a quasi-national reporter who likes to point out he called the Nathan Peterman pick the morning before he was selected.
Allbright did not initially specify which quarterback the Bills were targeting, but in a later tweet he specifically mentioned Josh Rosen and Josh Allen. Both quarterbacks are expected to be drafted in the top ten, with Rosen projected to be selected with one of the first two picks in the draft.
This is obviously a storyline that all Bills fans will be monitoring over the coming weeks, to see what the Bills plan is at quarterback for the 2018 season.
