The biggest names fall on the defensive side of the ball with starters Kyle Williams, Preston Brown, and E.J. Gaines all free to explore other options come free agency. Kyle Williams will almost certainly either return or retire, but his future with the Bills is just as uncertain as Brown’s and Gaines’. On the offensive side of the ball the big names are Deonte Thompson, Nick O’Leary, and Travaris Cadet. None of those three are irreplaceable, but they were certainly important parts of the Buffalo offense this past season. It will be interestingly to see how the Bills handle free agency this year, given their uncertainty at quarterback (the most expensive position) and the number of picks they hold at the top of this April’s NFL draft.
