The Buffalo Bills are interested in bringing in one of the soon-to-be free agents from the Minesota Vikings according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Buffalo traded their starting quarterback, Tyrod Taylor last Friday and the only QB they’ll have on their roster once the league year begins Wednesday.
Pelissero says Buffalo “does have interest” in Bradford as a bridge quarterback . His words aren’t as strong on Keenum saying the Bills “could be interested.” Braford had surgery in November and teams are looking into his health before committing to the journeyman.
Keenum is looking for a deal in the low $20 million-per-season range, per Pelissero, something Buffalo might be hesitant to go with. The reporter mentions Buffalo could be interested if that number comes down. Buffalo does ave the cap space to handle that deal now and in the future, though.
Minnesota is also assessing the market, seeing if they would be able to sign one, as well. Minnesota is targeting Kirk Cousins by all reports, but Bradford and Keenum would be a Plan B option.
Per @TomPelissero, the Bills are interested in both Case Keenum and Sam Bradford.
