The latest on the Zay Jones arrest.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Zay Jones was released from jail this morning following a Monday night arrest for felony vandalism. According to multiple reports, he was released on bail at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, 4:45 a.m. local time in Los Angeles. His bail was set at $20,000, according to Ashley Rowe of WKBW.

Jones is due back in court April 11th to answer the charge. He is being charged with a felony because the amount of damage he is alleged to have caused totals more than $400 in value. Jones is accused of damaging a window on the 30th floor of a hotel and leaving a blood trail from the ensuing cuts he received.

The incident stems from an argument he was having with his brother. Video shows Cayleb Jones trying to calm down his brother Isaiah a.k.a. “Zay” before Zay runs past him to smash the window. Cayleb is a receiver for the Minnesota Vikings.

“We are aware of the incident involving Zay Jones. We are still in the process of gathering more information on the matter. At this point, we will have no further comment,” said a statement from the Bills on Tuesday night.

Jones required medical attention at the scene for cuts and it’s unclear what his medical status is at this point and what caused the incident.
