San Diego State RB Rashaad Penny will see Buffalo Bills on a pre-draft visit

The running back burst on the scene this year finishing with 2248 yards on 289 carries and 23 TDs

According to NFL draft analyst Tony Pauline, the Buffalo Bills will be hosting former San Diego State running back Rashaad Penny on an official pre-draft visit. The team is allowed thirty such pre-draft visitors.

The prolific Penny’s senior season was one to remember, as his penchant for big plays had him in contention for the Heisman trophy. Following San Diego State’s bowl game, Penny participated in the Senior Bowl where he was the only running back who impressed during the game. At the NFL Combine, Penny was able to run a 4.46 40-yard dash, the third-fastest time among running backs, at 220 pounds.

Likely a second-day pick, the former Aztec also brings significant special teams value, having returned seven kickoffs for touchdowns. Buffalo is currently without a kickoff returner following the exit of Brandon Tate. Penny would be a fantastic addition to the versatile stable of running backs the Bills have been collecting.
