Zay Jones won't face discipline from Buffalo Bills for bizarre Los Angeles incident

Bills’ GM Brandon Beane said he hadn't heard of any punishment from the league yet

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Buffalo Bills’ general manager Brandon Beane told media members at the NFL’s annual owners meeting on Monday that wide receiver Zay Jones will not be punished by the team for his bizarre incident in downtown Los Angeles last Monday night with his brother, Cayleb Jones’ girlfriend’s apartment building. There is no word whether or not the league will hammer down a punishment for Jones.

Jones was first arrested for allegedly breaking a 30th floor window that left a bloody mess in the building. Cayleb Jones allegedly had to restrain Zay until the police arrived. Those charges were later dropped due to a lack of sufficient evidence. The story was first reported by TMZ Sports along with a disturbing video obtained by them.

The reason for the incident is up in the air which will likely be concealed by Jones and his family for some time. He has not made any comments since the incident and his faily released a brief statement saying he was with them.
