Per Jordan Schultz from Yahoo! Sports, the Buffalo Bills will host free agent defensive end Terrence Fede on Thursday. Fede was a seventh-round selection of the Miami Dolphins in the 2014 NFL Draft. The 2017 season concluded Fede’s rookie contract, and he was not re-signed by the Dolphins.
The Bills have already added two defensive ends to the roster this offseason, with Trent Murphy and Owa Odighizuwa coming to Western New York. Ryan Davis was released earlier this week with the reported interest in Fede suggesting that move was part of an attempt to upgrade the position.
In four years with the Dolphins, Terrence Fede has appeared in 51 games with zero starts. He has 50 combined tackles (30 solo) in that span, with one sack coming in his rookie year. Fede has yet to crack the 20% mark of playing time on defense, but saw a high-water mark on special teams in 2017 with 75%.
