Cornerback Jaire Alexander visited with the Buffalo Bills

He was apart of the official pre-draft 30

With the departure of E.J. Gaines, the Buffalo Bills are thin at the cornerback position despite the Vontae Davis signing. According to NFL reporter Mike Jones of USA Today, Louisville cornerback Jaire Alexander made an official pre-draft visit to the Bills Tuesday.

Alexander stands in at 5’10” and 196 pounds. He was a three-year starter at the position for the Cardinals before being sidelined with a knee and hand injury for most of his junior season. In 2016 as a sophomore and his last full season, Alexander posted 39 total tackles with five interceptions and nine passes defended.

Alexander would most likely see immediate starter minutes on the Bills’ defense as the third corner. Only Phillip Gaines, the recent signee who spent an unimpressive 2017 season with the Kansas City Chiefs would stand in his way.

He is seen as a Day two pick with Day one potential that was derailed by injury.

Here is a list of all the Bills pre-draft visits we know about.
