Buffalo Bills to host pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu on pre-draft visit, per report

The Bills made a big investment this offseason in the position.

University of Southern California pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu is the latest name visiting the Buffalo Bills over this two-day span according to Josh Norris. General manager Brandon Beane has had multiple players in on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Nwosu had 9.5 sacks in 2017 and 11.5 tackles for a loss. It was his second season as a starter at USC. He played outside linebacker in college but can fit as a 3-4 outside linebacker or 4-3 defensive end, where he would slot in for Sean McDermott and Leslie Frazier. He is roughly the same height and weight as Jerry Hughes.

Nwosu is currently projected as a Day 2 pick.

Buffalo added high-priced free agent defensive end Trent Murphy in free agency as they try to improve a pass rush that generated little pressure a year ago. Defensive tackle Star Lotulelei is supposed to help push the pocket to help, as well.
