The first eleven picks of the 2018 SB Nation NFL Writers Mock Draft have been made and the Buffalo Bills are on the clock. Our pick will be made at 9:00 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, April 12th so we have some time to talk it over.
Here is who is off the board so far:
2018 SB Nation NFL Writers’ Mock Draft
- Cleveland Browns: Sam Darnold, QB, USC
- New York Giants: Bradley Chubb, DE, NC State
- New York Jets (via Indianapolis Colts): Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA
- Cleveland Browns (via Houston Texans): Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
- Denver Broncos: Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma
- Indianapolis Colts (via New York Jets): Quenton Nelson, OG, Notre Dame
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Derwin James, S, Florida State
- Chicago Bears: Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech
- San Francisco 49ers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, S, Alabama
- Oakland Raiders: Maurice Hurst, DT, Michigan
- Miami Dolphins: Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia
With three of the top four quarterbacks off the board, the Bills could easily go with the quarterback with the highest upside in the Draft, Josh Allen. They could also look at QB Lamar Jackson to fill that hole on their roster.
Every wide receiver is still on the board, with Calvin Ridley certainly being an option.
On the defensive side of the ball, Buffalo could solidify the defensive tackle position with Vita Vea or Da’Ron Payne or grab cornerback Denzel Ward, who has slipped in this mock. At linebacker, Leighton Vander Esch would be a bit of a reach right now but we like him.
We have already submitted out pick, but what do YOU think we should do?
