It finally happened. After months and months of speculation about trading up for a quarterback, the Buffalo Bills traded up to number 7 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft to select Josh Allen out of Wyoming. The trade, which cost the Bills a pretty penny, gives them their potential franchise QB that they have been searching for for years. Allen shared his excitement about joining the Bills.

Recently retired Bill Eric Wood showed his support for Allen as well.
I met @JoshAllenQB at the Masters and I think he'll be an awesome fit for what the Bills are building. Great first round for the Bills!

Hopefully Allen has a great career in Buffalo and he is the QB that they have dreamed about for years.
After picking Tremaine Edmunds later in the first round, the Bills still have picks remaining through the NFL Draft. We’ll keep you updated on the reaction to their later picks.
