Buffalo Bills sign 2018 NFL Draft pick Harrison Phillips to rookie deal

Josh Allen is the last remaining Bills player unsigned

The Buffalo Bills are down to one unsigned rookie as third round pick Harrison Phillips put pen to paper today, inking his first four-year NFL contract. Seventh overall pick Josh Allen is the only unsigned player now.

Buffalo took Phillips 96 overall when many thought he could sneak into the bottom edge of the first round after a great career at Stanford. He has a good chance to figure into Buffalo’s defensive line rotation immediately to spell free agent addition Star Lotulelei.

Phillips was the most enjoyable interview Buffalo Rumblings conducted at the 2018 Senior Bowl. He spoke at length on every question, touching on his wrestling background (three-time state champion), his off-field interests (tutoring kids, reading the Bible cover-to-cover), and his pre-game preparation process.

In addition to Phillips, Buffalo has already signed fourth round pick Taron Johnson, firth rounders Siran Neal and Wyatt Teller, sixth round pick Ray-Ray McCloud, and seventh round selection Austin Proehl.
