Ex-girlfriend’s attorney distancing her from domestic abuse accusations against Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was accused of domestic violence, child abuse, animal abuse, and steroid use on Tuesday morning by a friend of McCoy’s ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon. On Thursday, Cordon and her attorney cleared up some of the accusations with WSB-TV in Atlanta.

According to WSB’s Mike Petchenik, Cordon’s lawyer, Tanya Graham Mitchell, “Cordon has never accused McCoy of domestic violence and she can’t speak to what Cordon’s friend posted on Instagram earlier this week.”

In a since-deleted Instagram post, user “miamore_i_adore”, who has posted pictures of hersel with Cordon on social media, detailed a long list of accusations against McCoy:

“[LeSean McCoy] is THE DEVIL!!! YOU ARE AN ANIMAL!!!!!! We didn’t say anything about how you beat your dog “Henny” into kidney failure. Let’s not talk about all the times my best friend had to stop you from VICIOUSLY beating your son for small things like peeing in the bed. We kept quiet about your drug usage ... all the ILLEGAL steroids and needles you were using, but we will not keep quiet about this!!!!!! I can’t believe you did this to my best friend!!!!! YOUR KARMA IS GOING TO BE SO REAL!!!!!! The world needs to know what type of animal you really are!!!!!!!”

Another acquaintance of Cordon’s posted a similar accusation on Facebook. Cicely Billups, has the same photo of Cordon’s bloodied face but added new details:

“This is my beautiful best friend Delicia Cordon. I can’t fucking believe this!! Sending dudes in her house to pistol whip and rob her!! For what?! Now the world knows what we know!!! You will pay for this.. You will NOT get away with this!!!!”

While Cordon’s lawyer went out of her way to include McCoy’s name in the letter she released to the media on Tuesday and build a circumstantial case against McCoy, she was also careful to not accuse him of anything. After establishing that it’s McCoy who owns the home, the lawyer goes on to mention his name more than a dozen times.
