Why I’m excited about the Buffalo Bills this season

New, comments

We ended the 17-year drought, isn’t that exciting enough!?

You can’t write this headline without first mentioning rookie quarterback Josh Allen. I’m really excited about the potential the Buffalo Bills have in many spots on their roster.

I’m excited about what offensive coordinator Brian Daboll can do to transform the offense. I’m excited about the spark Allen can bring when he eventually enters the lineup. I’m excited about Corey Coleman and Jason Croom and the offensive skill position players.

The defense was great in 2017, so looking forward to Tre’Davious White finally earning some respect around the league will be great. He and Jordan Poyer deserved Pro Bowl nods and that secondary was very good a year ago. Rookie Tremaine Edmunds has astronomical potential and watching his 20-year-old brain achieve his potential is going to be fun.

The vision head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane have brought to Buffalo is enough to be excited about. Now it’s time to see if it can all come together in 2018.
