Former running back and fan favorite will contribute to post-game show

Fred Jackson was a fan favorite during his nine seasons with the Buffalo Bills, and starting this year, Jackson has been added to the Bills’ postgame broadcast team, according to Alan Pergament of The Buffalo News. Jackson will team up to co-host “Bills Tonight” with Mike Catalana, the sports director for 13WHAM News in Rochester. Jackson and Catalana will provide highlights and analysis from all of the Bills’ regular season games on “Bills Tonight,” which will be carried on MSG right after the conclusion of the contest.

Jackson previously served as host of “The Fred Jackson Show” on WBBZ-TV in Buffalo starting in 2012, a program that featured analysis, highlights, and player interviews.

Jackson owns the distinction of becoming the first NFL player to ever rush for more than 1,000 yards and accrue more than 1,000 kickoff return yards when he accomplished the feat in 2009. In 2010, he was named the Bills’ NFL Walter Payton “Man of the Year.”

He finished his Buffalo career ranking third all-time in career rushing yards (5,646), and fifth in career receptions (322).
