The Buffalo Bills look to rebound from their atrocious season opener with a much better performance in their home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers
Josh Allen’s First Career Start
The 7th overall pick will be the second rookie QB to start this season. It’s also the second time in a row the Bills will start a rookie against the Chargers. In case you blacked it out of your mind, Nathan Peterman’s infamous start came against the Chargers last year. Hopefully Allen can fair much, much better this time.
Defense Looks to Rebound
The Bills defense was torched by the Ravens’ new-look offense last Sunday. Baltimore put up more points in that game than they did in any game last season. The offense didn’t give them much help, but a rebound game will likely be necessary to get the Bills’ their first 2018 win.
Offensive Line Woes
The offensive line was as bad as advertised on Sunday, if not worse. Peterman and Allen were both sacked three times each and LeSean McCoy only had 22 rushing yards. In both facets of the offense, the line performed miserably. This week they have a rookie making his first career start behind them. The Bills desperately need this unit to step it up.
