The Buffalo Bills released 34 players on Saturday afternoon and traded another, cutting their roster to 52 players. The team will place waiver claims and await to see if they were awarded the players they claimed.
While much of our focus will be on who is added to the roster today, some interest in the players who were subtracted will continue. Which Buffalo players will be deemed worthy of a roster claim by one of the other 31 NFL teams?
The first player claimed was acquired by the team with the first priority in the claim process. The Cleveland Browns are number 1 by virtue of their winless 2017 season, and they claimed former Buffalo linebacker Tanner Vallejo. The second-year player was primarily a special teamer for Buffalo as a rookie.
We will update the tracker with other names as they come available.
