In case you haven’t heard, former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Jordan Matthews thinks that Buffalo is a pretty boring place:

Of course, we have to disagree with him. Buffalo, NY and its surrounding areas have plenty of things to do, both indoors and outdoors, whether you’re adventurous or looking for a place to relax and have some drinks. But, don’t take our word for it. Bills fans and proud Buffalonians took to Twitter to show us just how special “The City of Good Neighbors” truly is.

Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park is the largest inland naval park in the U.S.:

Try your luck at one of the area’s casinos:

Or get dressed up for The Witch’s Ball at Statler City:

If you have “Scandinavian blood” like Bills QB Josh Allen, you may want to test your axe and hatchet throwing skills:

For some fun in the sun, check out one of the many parks or bodies of water in the area:

While you’re by the water, make sure to take some time to fish, sail, kayak or simply take in the beautiful views:

Finally, what Buffalo experience would be complete without tailgating and attending a Buffalo Bills home game?

Buffalo has so much more to offer that one article simply cannot do it justice. However, the next time someone tries to claim that there’s “nothing to do” there, let this serve as proof that their statement couldn’t be further from the truth.
