Today, the Buffalo Bills are in Minnesota looking for their first win of the season against the Minnesota Vikings. This will be Josh Allen’s second start, but the going will not get easier as he is set to face one of the top defenses in the NFL. We turned to EA Sports Madden NFL 19 to get an early prediction of the game.
Buffalo 13, Minnesota 16
The Bills put up a hard fight leading for three quarters but could not hold it down in the fourth, losing a difficult game. Josh Allen performed well, passing for 260 yards and a touchdown but also had an interception on the day. LeSean McCoy did play in this simulation even though he is questionable with a rib injury and had his most successful game on the ground this year, rushing for 92 yards. As a receiver, he was also the most productive on the team catching seven passes for 88 yards. At the end of the game it came down to the offense producing points—which they have struggled with through two games—and could not get the job done as the Vikings outscored them 6-0 in the final quarter to squeak away with the victory.
Hopefully, the actual game will be a different story and the Bills can come away with their first win of the season—and show the rest of the league they are not just a joke.
