Kyle Williams is going back to the Pro Bowl, the Buffalo Bills announced Monday. He replaces Tennessee Titans DT Jurrell Casey. Williams will be the only Bills player in attendance.
The trip is Williams’s sixth Pro Bowl appearance. In 2017, he was passed over for the first healthy time in the since 2010. He missed the second half of the seasons in 2011 and 2015.
The Titans placed Casey on Injured Reserve the day before Christmas as the DT was dealing with a sprained MCL.
Williams admitted during his farewell tour that he would love to represent the Bills at the Pro Bowl one more time and he’s getting his wish.
“The opportunity to go represent the organization one more time, I’d definitely jump at that,” he said at the time.
The Pro Bowl will take place on January 27th at 3:00 p.m. Eastern.
Williams is just the third Bills defensive player to play in six Pro Bowls joining DE Bruce Smith (11) and LB Mike Stratton (6), according to the Bills’ press release.
