Buffalo Bills’ fan confidence dips after close call against Miami Dolphins

Fans are a wee bit skittish.

Buffalo Bills fans were relieved that the team pulled out a victory against the Miami Dolphins, but in the minds of some fans, doubt is creeping in. In the latest voting of SB Nation’s FANPULSE, a few fans have hopped from the confident side to not confident side of the poll.

Going into Week 7, fans of the Bills were tied for second place in fan confidence at 91%. After their ten-point victory over Miami, it has dipped to 86%. Confidence hasn’t been that low since following the team’s loss to the New England Patriots in Week 4.

Overall, Bills fans are now the seventh-most confident fan base in the NFL. Fans of the New Orleans Saints are at 100%, while San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts fans are at 96%. Fans of the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens (after a huge jump from the 60s over the last several weeks) are at 92%. Green Bay Packers fans are also heartily more confident, moving from 54% in Week 5 up to 88%.

In the AFC East, Miami Dolphins fans are at 52% and New York Jets fans are at 42% but that is with voting taking place BEFORE their Monday Night Football blow up.

Buffalo’s next opponent, the Philadelphia Eagles, is down in the dumps with just 7%.
