The Philadelphia Eagles boast a formidable pair of tight ends in Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert. For the Buffalo Bills, linebacker Matt Milano is an integral part of their defense, especially as it relates to covering athletic running backs and tight ends in the passing game. Milano missed last week’s game against the Miami Dolphins due to a hamstring injury, so his status has been the one most closely monitored throughout the week by Bills fans. He’s active today, which should certainly help.
Here are Buffalo’s inactives for today’s match-up.
RB T.J. Yeldon
With Devin Singletary back to full health, this will probably become the norm throughout the year, barring another injury. Senorise Perry is once again active thanks to his special teams prowess.
WR Isaiah McKenzie
This is different, as the Bills leave the gadget player/slot receiver inactive in favor of deep threat Robert Foster. Perhaps the Bills will test Josh Allen’s arm in rainy, blustery conditions this afternoon?
TE Tommy Sweeney
With Tyler Kroft healthy, Sweeney is a healthy scratch for the second straight week. Barring an injury at the position, this is how it will probably remain.
OL Ryan Bates
The undrafted rookie acquired from Philadelphia this preseason won’t have the chance to suit up against his old mates. Ty Nsekhe, Dion Dawkins, and Cody Ford are the active tackles
G Ike Boettger
When Quinton Spain missed practice on Wednesday with a foot injury, the possibility arose that Boettger would be active today; however, Spain was able to practice in full on Thursday and Friday, so back to a healthy scratch Boettger goes.
LB Corey Thompson
The special teamer is still recovering from ankle surgery he had right around a month ago. Thompson has been able to practice on a limited basis for the past two weeks, so he’s probably close to being active. I’d expect him back next week.
S Kurt Coleman
The veteran suffered a hamstring injury last week, and with the weather conditions as bad as they’re expected to be, it’s no surprise that he’ll miss the game this week. The Bills go with Jaquan Johnson, Dean Marlowe, and Siran Neal behind starters Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde.

Philadelphia had already ruled out six players ahead of this game, so we knew that linebacker Nigel Bradham (ankle/illness), wide receiver DeSean Jackson (abdomen), defensive tackle Tim Jernigan (foot), cornerback Avonte Maddox (neck/concussion), tackle Jason Peters (knee), and running back Darren Sproles (quadricep) would all be out today.
Here is the official inactive list from the Eagles.
