Cody Ford leaves game, Buffalo Bills offensive line in trouble

The Bills are thin on the o-line now.

The Buffalo Bills are really thin on their offensive line as Cody Ford has been taken to the locker room with a head injury. It happened on a play where he was flagged for holding. The replay was unclear on what actually happened with the injury.

In to replace Ford is rookie Ryan Bates. Ty Nsekhe, the veteran tackle, is already on the shelf with his own injury. Buffalo released Conor McDermott this week, further thinning their offensive tackle depth.

Center Mitch Morse is also out of the game with an ankle injury, so Spencer Long is also in the game. Every healthy offensive lineman is playing right now. If there is another injury, tight end Lee Smith might be called into action. Jon Feliciano has moved from right guard to center with Long in at right guard.

The bye week couldn’t be coming at a better time for the Bills with these injuries on the offensive line and around the team.
