Trent Murphy leaves games against Titans with head injury

Another man down.

The Buffalo Bills have lost several players during this game and the latest is defensive end Trent Murphy. Murphy left the game in the second half with a head injury.

The Bills have a solid rotation at defensive end, and that playing time-share will be hurt with this injury. Shaq Lawson and Darryl Johnson will see more playing time in place of Murphy and Jerry Hughes will likely get some more playing time, as well.

The Bills have been generating a ton of pass rush, mostly up the center from Lorenzo Alexander and a monster performance from Jordan Phillips and his three sacks.

Murphy joins offensive tackle Cody Ford, center Mitch Morse, and linebacker Matt Milano on the sidelines during the game against the Titans in addition to the players who weren’t able to play in the game at all.

Of course, we’ll keep you updated as the game progresses and into the team’s much-needed bye week.
