Buffalo Bills fan chat: Thursday Night Football featuring Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns

The Bills want a Cleveland win.

The 6-3 Buffalo Bills aren’t playing on Thursday Night Football, but at 5-4 the Pittsburgh Steelers are hot on their heels in the AFC Wild Card race. Tonight, Bills fans are rooting for the team they faced off against last week, the 3-6 Cleveland Browns.

Watch it live tonight at 8:20 Eastern on FOX or NFL Network or you can stream it on Amazon Prime.

According to the New York Times Playoff Simulator, this is only the fourth-most important result for the Bills this weekend but we think it’s more important than that. Pittsburgh is currently the six seed in the AFC and they have a very easy schedule for the remainder of the year. We’ll take our chances on Cleveland winning eight in a row to get to 10-6 if it means we can knock Pittsburgh back to five losses right now.

Buffalo Bills (6-3, current 5 seed)

The Bills have struggled, losing two of their last three games and seem to be a paper tiger feasting on a sub-par early schedule. Like Houston, they have a tough stretch of games coming but they also have games against cellar-dwellers to get right.

at Miami (2-7)
vs. Denver (3-6)
at Dallas on Thanksgiving (5-4)
vs. Baltimore (7-2)
at Pittsburgh (5-4)
at New England (8-1)
vs. New York Jets (2-7)

Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4, current 6 seed via tiebreaker)

Pittsburgh is making a run, winning four straight despite Ben Roethlisberger being sidelined. They are riding a tough defense into playoff position but are two games behind the division-leading Baltimore Ravens.

at Cleveland (3-6)
at Cincinnati (0-9)
vs. Cleveland (3-6)
at Arizona (3-6-1)
vs. Buffalo (6-3)
at New York Jets (2-7)
at Baltimore (7-2)

The Browns are certainly talented enough to beat the Steelers. Leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.
