Micah Hyde’s second annual charity softball game returning in 2020

The May 31st game will feature many current Bills and will benefit the IMagINe for Youth Foundation

Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde is bringing back his charity softball game in 2020 as he does his part to raise money and awareness for the IMagINe for Youth Foundation. which helps children dealing with financial hardships by providing the essential resources and supplies with an aim to help them exceed both academically and athletically.

The game will take place at 1 p.m. May 31 at Sahlen Field. Tickets cost either $23 (in honor of Hyde’s jersey number) or $10, with a select number of $85 tickets available that come with an autographed Hyde football. Tickets are available through the Buffalo Bisons website.

“Looking back, being involved in athletics was more than Xs and Os,” Hyde told the Buffalo Bills’ official website.

“I learned to take the good with the bad, the bad with the good, and playing with countless personalities taught me how to coexist and be a team player. These are fundamentals that stuck with me. I believe sports is a gateway to learning how to be successful in the real world. I strongly believe that every child deserves the same opportunity to learn and experience those successes.”

Fans who purchase a ticket should expect to see many current Bills in attendance. The inaugural competition attracted more than 35 Bills, including quarterback Josh Allen, defensive end Jerry Hughes, cornerback Tre’Davious White, safety Jordan Poyer, tackle Dion Dawkins, and more. Head coach Sean McDermott also participated, as did Bills greats (and fan favorites) in running back Fred Jackson and center Eric Wood.
