The Buffalo Bills head into their Week 16 match-up with the New England Patriots a healthy bunch. Only right tackle Ty Nsekhe, out for over a month with an ankle injury, was ruled out prior to today’s announcement of inactive players.
The Patriots are similarly healthy, having only ruled cornerback Jonathan Jones out with a groin injury on Friday. For the most part, both teams are healthy for this week’s pivotal AFC East contest.
Which other players did Buffalo choose to leave inactive this week? Here is the full list.
RB T.J. Yeldon
Nothing to see here, as the Bills stick with Devin Singletary, Frank Gore, and Senorise Perry as the active runners this week. Yeldon was productive against the Pats in September, catching four passes for 68 yards in the loss.
WR Duke Williams
The Bills continue to roll with Isaiah McKenzie, Andre Roberts, and Robert Foster behind top targets Cole Beasley and John Brown. Williams has been a healthy scratch now for eight straight games.
TE Tommy Sweeney
Nothing to see here, either, as the Bills roll with Dawson Knox, Tyler Kroft, and Lee Smith. Sweeney played only nine offensive snaps in the first meeting between these two teams. He was not targeted on any of those snaps.
G Ike Boettger
With Quinton Spain, Mitch Morse, Jon Feliciano, and Spencer Long all healthy, Boettger remains a healthy scratch.
RT Ty Nsekhe
The veteran hasn’t healed from his ankle injury suffered against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11 yet, so he’ll be inactive again. Ryan Bates is active as the swing tackle behind Cody Ford and Dion Dawkins.
DT Vincent Taylor
After playing last week due to Corey Liuget’s knee injury, Taylor is back to a healthy scratch this week with Liuget ready to go.
S Dean Marlowe
Kurt Coleman, Jaquan Johnson, and Siran Neal are healthy, so they’ll back up starters Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde.
